<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly sensitive current sensor capable of detecting a current without cutting an existing electric wire while keeping electric insulation, prevented from generating secular change, and excellent in linearity. SOLUTION: This sensor is provided with a case 23 having a U-shaped guide groove for guiding the electric wire 21, a holder 20 having a projected portion fitted to the U-shaped guide groove to hold the electric wire inserted into the guide groove of the case 23, and formed to be detachable to the case 23, the first and second magnetism detecting heads 22 arranged in positions opposed each other with equal space with respect to the center of the electric wire inside the case 23 to detect a magnetic field generated in the electric wire 21, and a detection circuit for converting the magnetic field acting onto the first and second detecting heads 22 into a voltage, and a characteristic of high sensitivity excellent in linearity is provided thereby while keeping the electric insulation of the electric wire and the detecting heads, without cutting the existing electric wire and without generating secular change.</p> |
