The invention concerns a method for preparing a polyaromatic compound comprising at least chain formation of two aromatic cycles. Said method consists in reacting an aromatic compound bearing a leaving group and an arylboronic acid and/or derivatives thereof, in the presence of a base and an efficient amount of a palladium-based catalyst, said element capable of forming a complex with at least a co-ordinating agent or ligand. The invention is characterised in that the reaction is performed in an organic or hydro-organic medium and in the presence of an efficient amount of a phase-transfer catalyst. |
