The method of painting kitchen furniture involves etching the surface to aid adhesion of the paint. The surfaces to be painted are sanded to raise the grain and the flat areas are abrasive sanded. A finishing coating which is clear for a white modern finish and dark tinted to an antique finish is applied on the paint work to allow integration of the grain of the mouldings. Manual brush touch up is provided as a final step.
