PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deflection yoke, which is more reasonably priced, without affecting horizontal and vertical deflection magnetic field. SOLUTION: The distance between outer face of horizontal deflection coil 1 and inner face of ferrite core 4 is defined as Xc in the horizontal direction of screen and Yc in the horizontal direction, the Xc and Yc being different values from each other. Xc and Yc are expressed as Y/X=Yc/Xc×αwhen distance between outer face of horizontal deflection coil 1 and outer face of vertical deflection coil 3 is defined as X and Y in the horizontal and vertical directions, respectively, and trilemma can be amended by adjustingα.
