<p>The invention relates to instruments for detecting the intensity of ultraviolet radiation and can be used in medicine, photobiology, safety at work, for individual use in sunshine or in a solarium, as well as for detecting ozone holes in atmosphere, in metallurgy (hot shops), in agriculture, the raising of livestock and other fields. The proposed indicator of ultraviolet radiation intensity comprises a body, and a sensitive element (2) in the form of a monocrystal. The novelty of the invention lies in the sealed body (1) made of a non-hygroscopic material. The monocrystal is embodied in the form of a cube and made of alkalihalide material. The body has at least one window transparent for UV radiation (4). The inner surface of the body has a colour background which is colour-contrasting to blue. According to the second variant, the monocrystal of the sensitive element is embodied in the form of plate and made of alkalihalide material. The invention makes it possible to determine the ultraviolet radiation intensity in the range of 30 j/m2 - 1500 j/m2.</p> |
