PURPOSE: Suction muffler-mounting structure of a motor compressor is provided to reduce noise generated from the compressor by smoothly flowing refrigerant circulating inside a closed container. CONSTITUTION: Suction muffler-mounting structure of a motor compressor includes a frame installed inside a closed container; a suction muffler(11) disposed in a sidewall of the frame; and a guide passage(20), smoothly communicating the upper part and the lower part of the closed container. The guide passage is disposed between both sides of the suction muffler and stoppers(2') of the frame at regular intervals. Some of refrigerant flowed into the inside of the closed container by a suction pipe flows more smoothly inside the closed container. Therefore, noise of the compressor is sharply reduced.
