PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately analyze thermal deformation of a member thermally shrunk along with the lapse of time. SOLUTION: A deformation quantity of a member is found by separate procedures consisting of a calculation S12 of elasto-plastic deformation in a temperature rise, a calculation S14 of creep deformation from the end of the temperature rise to the start of temperature drop, and a calculation S16 of elasto-plastic deformation in the temperature drop. In the calculation of creep deformation, it is considered that thermal shrinking deformation of the member due to the lapse of time occurs simultaneously with the creep deformation, and total distortion of distortion based on the creep deformation and that based on thermal shrinkage is time differentiated for finding a distortion speed. This distortion speed is time integrated while using an interval from the end of temperature rise to the start of temperature drop as an integration interval, and consequently, creep deformation is calculated. Because the thermal shrinking deformation of the member along with the lapse of time is taken into consideration, thermal deformation of the member can be analyzed accurately.
