COMPOSITION FOR LIPSTICK

A lipstick composition which not only has exceedingly good color-developing properties but is excellent in spreadability and gloss and lasts well. It has excellent shape retention even when it contains substantially no ceresine. The lipstick composition comprises (a) 3 to 25 wt.% one or more polyethylene waxes (average molecular weight, 300 to 700) and (b) 0.1 to 50 wt.% one or more liquid oily substances having one OH group in the structure.
