<p>In an indirect data transmission system a store and forward apparatus to receive data from a mobile station (3) which stores and forwards data received via a mobile telephone network (4) from a mobile station (1). When all the data in a message has been received by the store and forward apparatus (3), it forwards the message to its ultimate destination by a non-mobile network (5). The mobile station (1) can reconnect to the store and forward apparatus (3), if the connection is lost during transmission of a message.</p> |
