<p>A header in a sequence layer during input is written in a RAM. Information on typical headers is stored in advance in a ROM. Selection by a selector is controlled by the output of a sensing unit. When a header in a sequence layer exists during input, the selector selects a stream in which the header is added to each frame as an output stream. When no header exists, a header stored in the RAM or the ROM is added to each frame of the stream to output the stream in which the header is added to each frame. In this case, a header stored in the RAM is added preferentially over a header stored in the ROM. The output stream from the selector always has a header added to each frame.</p> |
