The wall section (1) of the sheet metal body has a through opening (4) covered by a fixing element (10) for holding the mirror (20) on the side remote from same. The fixing element is a double-layered sheet metal part with a thin metal element (2) and a thicker metal element (3) each overlapping an edge of the opening. The thinner metal element is set between the wall section and the thicker metal element and is fixed on the wall section whilst the thicker metal element is only fixed on the thinner element. The thinner metal element projects over the outside edge of the thicker element.
