X-RAY TESTER

An X-ray tester comprises an X-ray shield block (10) arranged in a transfer path for an object to be tested, the block including a hole (11) through which the object passes and a slit (12) communicating with the hole; an X-ray tube (20) opposed closely to one opening of the slit to emit X rays into the hole; and an X-ray detector (30) provided at the other opening of the slit to detect X rays passing through the slit. X rays converged sharply through the slit in the shield block penetrates the object passing through the hole, so that the internal state of the object undergoes a nondestructive inspection in simple and accuracy manner based on the amount of X-ray penetration.
