The installation system has a connecting box (10) in the wall or floor with outward and return lines connected to the ends of a U-tube, of which the arms are later cut off to form two connections for input to and output from a radiator. The ends of the U-tube are connected by T-junctions to tube pieces (24, 26) which have screw threads (28, 30, 32, 34) on both ends. This enables the outward and return lines to be passed as part of a ring line through the connecting box. The radiator can be connected in parallel to the ring line.
