<p>A non-aqueous electrolyte cell which has a negative electrode comprising metallic lithium, a lithium alloy or a material capable of storing and releasing lithium, a positive electrode, a non-aqueous electrolyte comprising a solvent and a solute dissolved in the solvent, wherein the non-aqueous electrolyte contains at least one additive selected from the group consisting of phthalimide, a phthalimide derivative, phthalimidine, a phthalimidine derivative, tetra hydrophthalimide and a tetrahydrophthalimide derivative. The non-aqueous electrolyte cell is less susceptible to the increase of internal resistance during a storage for a long period at a high temperature and can provide a second cell having improved charge-discharge cycle characteristics.</p> |
