A terminal is provided with a sheet-metal body (2) with slots (4) for attachment to a bus-bar. A one-piece carrier (7) made of stamped sheet-metal has an opening (9) along one side of which a fixing bar (8) is formed for receiving the terminal. The carrier has protruding feet (14) at a height appropriate to the protrusion of the fixing bar when the carrier is its assembled position.
