Method has the following steps: storing of a full or half of an individual television image in an image memory, carrying out an image analysis for alphanumeric characters using a PC and analyzing software, execution of a text or image recognition step using the characters determined in the previous step and lastly testing the correctness of the characters with respect to web address syntax.
