The invention relates to a method and a device for connecting two optical fibre strips (4, 6) to several, e.g. 12 optical fibres (8, 10). Said fibre strips (4, 6) are guided in parallel, next to each other, with their faces being kept apart by a gap and are glued together by their faces. The corresponding device has a guiding device (28, 30, 32, 34) in a gluing tool (20, 22), said guiding device guiding the two fibre strips (4, 6) next to each other, in parallel, with their faces being kept apart by a gap; and a glue supply device (60) in said gluing tool (20, 22), the glue supply device having an opening (64) for discharging the glue in the area of the gap between the fibre strips (4, 6). |
