<p>The cover glass has projecting pillars received in the watch frame to enable use of the single fixing for both bracelet and cover glass. The bracelet watch includes a cover glass (13) which is attached to a base frame (2,3) by the same mechanism which retains the bracelet (10) to the corners (30) of the frame. The cover glass includes pillars (16) which extend perpendicular to the watch face, and are received in corresponding seatings (20) formed in the corners of the frame. A cut-away section of the pillar then aligns with a similar cut-away section within the frame corner, so that bar (8) which serves to hold the bracelet to the watch also holds the cover glass in place within the frame. A sealing ring (15) is placed between the cover glass and the base frame of the watch.</p> |
