A snore suppressing device (K) comprising an upper outer gingiva engaging unit (11) in contact with the outer surface of an upper gingiva, a lower teeth engaging unit (12) in contact with the inner surfaces of lower teeth, a connection unit (13) for connecting the upper outer gingiva engaging unit and the lower teeth engaging unit together, and an elastic upper inner gingiva contact unit (14) extending from the lower teeth engaging unit to contact the inner surface of the upper gingiva. When attached, the device is supported on and fixed to the upper jaw by holding the upper gingiva between the upper outer gingiva engaging unit and the upper inner gingiva contact unit. The connection unit is formed by connecting a connecting piece (13a) extending from the opposite ends of the upper outer gingiva engaging unit with a biting piece (13b) extending outwards from the opposite ends of the lower teeth engaging unit, with the biting pieces being bitten by the upper and lower teeth when the device is attached. |
