The device has at least one wiper driven by a motor (1,2) a washer device with a water tank and water pump motor and switching device which activates the other components. The wiper motor is a d.c. motor (15) with a transmission designed for a characteristic operating speed. The wiper motor has a hybrid electronic unit (19) contg. control, drive and power stages (20-22) which is mounted directly on or in the wiper motor housing. The working current of the wiper motor is switched via the power stage when the switching device is activated. The water pump motor working current is fed directly by the switching device.
