<p>This invention relates to the area of immunology and virology, and specifically relates to compositions obtainable from mammalian thymus cells which are useful as diagnostics, vaccines, and therapeutics for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection and related diseases such as acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) and AIDS-related complex (ARC).
