Snowploughable road marker

A snowploughable road marker (10) has a frame (12) comprising a pair of longitudinal directed keel members (20) connected by a support member (22). The support (22) also houses the marker reflector (14). The downward projecting surfaces (24) of the members (20) have step portions (26) that define a curved profile. The keel members (20) have upwardly sloping linear ramp profiles (40) which are joined by a linear flat surface (42).The length and height of the surface (42) is approximately the same as the width and height of the reflector (14). An auxiliary keel member (50), having substantially the same shape as the primary keel members (20) is positioned therebetween and in the same direction ,to give further protection to the reflector (14). The ramp (40) has an upwardly concave/parabolic profile.
