The invention relates to a device for cleaning pendants (1) for receiving pieces of dough, said pendants being suspended on a continuous endless chain (2), or for cleaning trays (33) that carry the pieces of dough and that are fastened to such pendants. Said cleaning device transports the chain (2) to a point of separation (16) that can be switched on and off where the pendants (1) are automatically separated from the chain (2) or the trays (33) from the pendants (1), and the pendants (1) or the trays (33) are passed to a transport system (15). Said transport system (15) transports the pendants (1) or the trays (33) to a cleaning installation (6) in which the pendants (1) or trays (33) are, preferably also automatically, cleaned. Once the pendants (1) or the trays (33) have passed the cleaning installation (6), the transport system (15) transports them to a point of delivery (31) that can also be switched on and off where the pendants (1) are re-linked with the chain (2) or the trays (33) with the pendants (1). |
