PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover-up liquid where the sedimentation of a white pigment is little, the redispersion of precipitation is easy because the sedimentation does not become a hard cake, spreadability and coating smoothness are excellent, and hiding power is high even if the quantity applied is small. SOLUTION: This cover-up liquid features comprising at least a white pigment, an organic solvent, a hinder soluble in the organic solvent and dehydrated silica obtained by a dry process.
