PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take out filters 12, 24 and 26 and to wash the inside while tightly closing an isolator 2 in which the treatment of a harmful material has been executed. SOLUTION: In the isolator 2, an air supply means 4, an air discharge means 16, a taking out port 64 for taking out the filters 12, 24 and 26 while keeping the inside in a closed state, working gloves 60, 74 and 76 capable of working at the inside, a washing water supply means 42 for supplying washing water and a washing water discharge means 44 for discharging the washing water are provided. At first, used filters 12, 24 and 26 are detached by using the working gloves 60, 74 and 76 while closing the inside and taken out outside from the taken out port 64. Then, the washing water is supplied from the washing water supply means 42 and the inside is washed through the working gloves 60, 74 and 76. After that, washing tools 84 such as sponge and the like is taken out from the taking out port 64. In such a way, the exchange of the filters 12, 24 and 26 is safely executed by opening a door of the isolator 2.
