摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine by which an opportunity to learn a variety of operations in a game is given to a game player based on the detection result of a position detecting means including a touch panel and which is provided with an auxiliary function to permit the game player to confirm the effect of the learning. SOLUTION: In the game machine, a plurality of patterns required for the game are variably displayed, it is decided whether or not a stop state to be displayed when the variable display is stopped is permitted to be a prescribed pattern arrangement and the stop state is decided based on the timing of a stop operation by the game player in the variable display. The machine is provided with the touch panel 6 for detecting a position designated externally on the picture display screen of a picture display means for displaying an optional picture. The picture display means is controlled to variably display a pattern picture expressing the patterns by simulating variable display and also to selectively display a mark 62 for indicating the picture of a specified pattern when the detection result of the touch panel 6 corresponds to the specified pattern.
