PURPOSE: A power supply method of a note book PC is provided to prevent the power loss due to reactive power by outputting main power from a DC-DC converter even in a case that the main power is shielded in a system under a condition such as suspend, thereby lengthening the life of a battery. CONSTITUTION: A DC-DC converter(100) converts DC voltage from a battery and an adaptor into DC voltage of predetermined level to supply it to respective terminals of a system. A system controller(200) controls the system in accordance with the DC voltage from the DC-DC converter(100) and the DC voltage output from an outer SMPS, and applies a source control signal to the DC-DC converter(100). A power supply(300) converts outer AC voltage into DC voltage to supply it to the DC-DC converter(100) and the system controller(200).
