GRAVITY DIE CASTING METHOD OF SPINE GRID FOR LEAD STORAGE BATTERY

PURPOSE: Provided is a gravity die casting method of a spine grid for a lead storage battery, which make the spine grid have a temperature gradient in the longitudinal direction by dividing a mold into at least two parts and then heating and cooling, if the length of the spine grid is more than 30cm. CONSTITUTION: The gravity die casting method for the spine grid comprises the steps of: setting the upper and lower molds(10) at a casting and a solidifying temperature by a controller(2); coupling the upper mold to the lower mold; heating the mold(10) to have the set temperature by heat lines(1) of the controller(2); injecting Pb-Sn-Ca alloy molten solution and then cooling with water by opening solenoid valves(5); separating the upper mold from the lower mold to extract the product.
