OPTICAL REPEATER FOR A PLURALITY OF SERVICES

PURPOSE: An optical repeater for a plurality of services is provided to do a plurality of services in an area where a service is not available by combining a plurality of base station signals performing each service in a photocoupler and transmitting them to a single optical repeater already installed nationwide. CONSTITUTION: A photocoupler(40) for coupling each transmission signal and separating receiving signal into each signal of base stations(10,15) is connected to an IS-95A/B base station(10) and an IS-95C base station(15). A doner unit(21) of an IS-95A/B optical repeater(20) is connected to the photocoupler(40). The doner unit(21) is connected to a remote controller unit(22) installed in a propagation shading area through an optical line(30). Accordingly, mobile communication providers do an IS-95C service in a frequency band allocated in their own company, they can provide the IS-95A/B service and the IS-95C service together in the propagation shading area by coupling a IS-95A/B base station(10) signal and an IS-95C base station(15) signal and connecting with the doner unit(21) of the IS-95A/B optical repeater(20).
