PURPOSE: A power train has compact structure and improves gearshift quality by using a one way clutch on shifting gears as 1-2, 2-3 and 4-2. CONSTITUTION: A power train comprises a torque converter(T), a main gearshift portion, an auxiliary gearshift portion, a power transmitting device, a brake device, a clutch device and an asynchronous gearshift device. The torque converter(T) converts the torque of the rotary power outputted from an engine(E) to output to an input shaft(5). The main gearshift portion is composed on a first shaft(23) placed on the same axis with the input shaft(23) to be selectively connected with the input shaft(23) to receive rotary power. The auxiliary gearshift portion is placed on a second shaft(25) placed parallel to the first shaft(23) with a certain gap and connected with the main gearshift portion by two power transmitting lines to transmit power to an output shaft(31). The power transmitting device is composed between the auxiliary gearshift portion and the main gearshift portion and transmits the rotary power of the main gearshift portion to the auxiliary gearshift portion. The brake device is composed between the first shaft and the second shaft and a transmission housing(37) to make one of operational elements of the main gearshift portion and the auxiliary gearshift portion respectively as reactional elements. The clutch device is composed between the two operational elements of the main gearshift portion and the input shaft(5) and selectively transmits power. The asynchronous gearshift device is composed between the main gearshift portion and the auxiliary gearshift portion and the transmission housing(37) and operates on gearshifts of 1-2, 2-3 and 4-2. |
