PURPOSE: A device for fixing a mask of a flat cathode-ray tube is provided which extends the contact area of a rail combining member and a frit glass to strengthen the adhesion strength of the panel and the rail . CONSTITUTION: A rail combining member(90) used as a device for fixing a mask of a flat cathode-ray tube has an A-shaped sectional form. The inner side(91) of the rail combining member that comes into contact with a frit glass is repeatedly protruded and recessed. This extends the adhesion between the rail combining member and the frit glass. The A-shaped rail combining member is bent with the recessed portion(90a) in the center so that the outer curvature(r) is proportional to the thickness of the recessed portion, The rail combining member has an L-shaped sectional form. The L-shaped rail combining member has a groove at a face coming into contact with the frit glass. At least one of the groove portion and the face other than the groove is repeatedly protruded and recessed.
