PURPOSE: An anti cancer composition containing of Euonymus alatus sp. extract is provided, which shows high anti cancer activity by giving cytotoxicity to cancer cell, and gives safety due to little toxicity in human cell. CONSTITUTION: A producing process for the composition is comprised of: drying a root, stem, leaf, or husk of Euonymus alatus species(such as Euonymus alatus SIEB, Euonymus alatus for ciliatodentatus HIYAMA, Euonymus alatus for pilosus OHWI, Euonymus alatus for apterus REHDER and Euonymus alatus var uncinata NAKAI), and pulverizing the dried herb; adding methanol, extracting for three hours while heating to 20-90deg.C; filtering and separating a supernatant and a residue; vacuum-concentrating the supernatant, freeze-drying to get a methanol extract of the Euonymus alatus(extract 1); suspending the methanol extract to distilled water, adding ethyl acetate, and extracting again to get ethyl acetate extract(extract 2). The anti-tumor composition contains 0.1-50.0wt.% of the Euonymus alatus extract(extr.1 or extr.2).
