BRAKE DRUM COOLING DEVICE OF LARGE VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A brake drum cooling device cools down the temperature of a brake drum with cooling water to prevent the physical property of rubber of a bead part from being changed. CONSTITUTION: A cooling cistern(3) is formed inside a brake drum(2). Two tanks(5, 6) are installed in a brake drum cover(4) installed inside the brake drum(2) to temporarily store cooling water circulating into and out of the brake drum(2). A slip ring is interposed between the brake drum cover(4) and the brake drum(2). A cooling water forcing circulation device comprises a pump(7) and a radiator(8) and is installed in the tanks(5, 6).
