PURPOSE: A rotary air vent louver for motor vehicle is provided to allow cool or hot air to be uniformly distributed throughout the cab area by improving the structure of louver to be rotatable. CONSTITUTION: A rotary air vent louver comprises a circular louver frame(14) disposed within a louver cover to be inserted into a vehicle vent duct; a plurality of first wings(16) formed integrally with the louver frame; a plurality of second wings(18) mounted within the louver frame and which are interconnected through a single link; and a rotating unit(20) connected to the louver frame so as to support and rotate the louver frame. The rotating unit includes a bracket to be installed within the vehicle vent duct; a rod one end of which is fixed to the bracket and the other end of which is connected to the louver frame through a bearing; a metallic pad supported at the louver cover through an elastic member, and which contacts the outer periphery of the louver frame; an electro-magnet mounted in the louver cover and which draws the metallic pad toward the louver cover when a current is applied; and a switch for applying current to the electro-magnet.
