PURPOSE: A method for melt welding a tape in the tube liner joint for curing and its apparatus are provided, to prevent the heat and the water from being leaked at the joint of curing tube liners. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for melt welding is provided with two tape hangers; the first thermoelectric insulator; the second thermoelectric insulator; the third thermoelectric insulator; and a hydraulic roller. The method comprising the steps of melt welding a polyethylene or polyurethane film(25) onto the joint(24) of a tube liner(30) doubly; and pressing two tapes(20) with the equal physical properties onto the region by using a hydraulic roller, wherein the two tapes from the tape hangers are dissolved by the three thermoelectric insulators and are pressed.
