PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To vulcanize a weather strip made susceptible to peroxide vulcanization without using salt bath (LCM) vulcanization. SOLUTION: In a continuous vulcanization method for a weather strip, an extrudate of an ethylene/α-olefin rubber(EOR) compound wherein the whole or a part of the cross section of the extrudate is a peroxide vulcanizing part P and the remaining part thereof is a sulfur vulcanizing part S is continuously vulcanized in an air-containing atmosphere. Prior to continuous vulcanization, at least the surface of the peroxide vulcanizing part P is cut off from air. For example, air cutting-off treatment is performed by covering the peroxide vulcanizing part P with the sulfur vulcanizing part S extruded simultaneously with the peroxide vulcanizing part P.
