METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETECTING COMMON RAIL TYPE FUEL TEMPERATURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a special fuel temperature sensor by improving a method and a device for detecting the common rail type fuel temperature and by using existing components. SOLUTION: This method for detecting common rail type fuel temperature is provided with a high-pressure pump throttled at a suction side and a distribution unit for detecting the fuel temperature of low-pressure range and/or a high-pressure range of the common rail. The fuel temperature in the low- pressure range TFluid and/or high-pressure range fuel temperature THD is found by energy balance using a computer.
