PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volatilizing vessel for a chemical enabled to prevent transfer loss of the chemical to be volatilized to the vessel body. SOLUTION: In the inside of a vessel 1 a chemical mat 5 is held to be nipped between protrusions 27 on the back side material 2 and protrusions 37 on the front side material 3. However, as the main bodies 62 and 62 of intervention bodies 6 are closely adhered to the front and back sides of the chemical mat 5, the protrusions 27 and 37 and the chemical mat 5 do not contact to each other. Thus, decrease of the chemical caused by transfer of the chemical in the mat 5 to the protrusions 27, 37 and further transfer to the back side and front side materials through the protrusions 27 are prevented. The intervention bodies 6 are removed before beginning to use.
