PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve driving device for regulating valve clearance, without having to increase the size of the device with a simple structure. SOLUTION: A valve body and an armature shaft 22 are rotated during operation due to surge of first and second springs 41 and 71, and a distance between the valve body and the armature shaft 22 is changed by a distance changing means 80, when relative rotation is generated on the valve body and the armature shaft 22. The valve clearance can be regulated without having to increase the size of the device with the simple structure,. The distance changing means 80 has a valve clearance regulating member 81, provided with a spiral shaped end surface 81a and a third spring 82, and constitutes a rush adjustor for making the valve of the of the valve clearance zero. Failures in absorption of an armature main body can be prevented, and it is also possible to compensate clearance change by abrasion of members, such as the valve body and the valve clearance regulating member 81.
