APPLICATION TYPE ANTISTATIC AGENT COMPOSITION EXCELLENT IN ENDURANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an application type antistatic agent for applying on the surface of a thermoplastic resin such as a film, etc., and excellent in endurance. SOLUTION: This antistatic agent is characterized by containing a dispersion of a hydrophilic copolymer obtained by polymerizing a monomer composition consisting of the following (A) to (E) and a polycarbodiimide-based resin blended in a ratio of 0.1-3 mole carbodiimide group based on 1 mole of the carboxyl group in the above copolymer. (A) 5-40 wt.% (meth)acrylic monomer having quaternary ammonium salt. (B) 1-20 wt.% (meth)acrylic monomer having carboxy groups. (C) 1-30 wt.% hydrophilic (meth)acrylic monomer [except for the component (B)]. (D) 20-60 wt.% (meth)acrylic monomer expressed by general formula (1): CH2=CR1COOR2. (wherein, R1 is H or methyl; R2 is a 1-18C alkyl) (E) 0-30 wt.% copolymerizable monomer except for the components (A) to (D).
