PURPOSE: A heald abrasion barrel and abrasing method improves a workability and an abrasing performance and prevents a heald from getting bent. CONSTITUTION: A heald abrasing method comprises a process to supply abrasive composed of grind stone, water and abrasive powder mixed to an abrasion barrel(20) with healds(10) inputted, a process to seal the abrasion barrel(20) air-tightly and a process to rotate multiple laid barrels(20) slowly using a rotating device. The mixing proportion of the abrasive is 30-60% of the grind stone, 30-65% of water and 5-10% of the abrasive powder. The healds(10) are to occupy less than half of the volume of the abrasion barrel(20).
