SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TAKING UP ILLEGAL VEHICLE OVER INTERNET

PURPOSE: An illegal vehicle take-up system and a method for the same are provided to install illegal vehicle take-up devices at gas stations or parking places, to enable the take-up devices to inquire into the illegal condition of all the entering vehicles, and to enable the take-up devices to refuse a gas supply and report the illegal vehicle at a police. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a private terminal(10), a police terminal(20), a data storage(31), a data processor(33), a server(30), an entering vehicle sensor(41), an image input device(43), and a vehicle number recognizer(45). The private terminal(10) is installed at places where many vehicles frequently enter or go out, for example a gas station, a toll gate or a parking place. The police terminal(20) manages the take-up of the illegal vehicles. The server(30) stores various data in relation with the illegal vehicle at the data storage(31), analyzes request messages from the terminals(10,20), and transmits the analysis results to the terminals(10,20) by using the data processor(33). The image input device(43) captures a vehicle number plate, and the vehicle number recognizer(45) converts the image data into corresponding numbers.
