PURPOSE: An apparatus for manufacturing a flat cable is provided to reduce a cause of defect by matching a position of a wire exposed part with that of a material, and smoothly transport the material and a wire by arranging the material surrounding an outer peripheral surface of the wire on an upper and lower part of the wire. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of wires(W) are molded with a material to manufacture a flat cable(C). A wire exposed part(H) is formed by partially exposing the wire(W) at predetermined intervals on an outer peripheral surface of the cable(C), so as to facilitate a connection of the cable(C) to a connector(S). Each transfer part comprises the wire(W) and the material(B). The respective transfer parts are arranged in parallel to each other in the same direction and transferred to a mold part. Punches(10,20) are additionally installed on a material transfer part, form the wire exposed part(H) on the material(B), and are interlocked with each other, whereby one operation thereof enables uniform holes to be made. The material transfer part is formed on an upper part side and a lower side part of the transfer part, so as for both the wire and material to be transferred to the mold part in the same direction.
