PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for removing chips which uses air pressure and can remove paper powder and cut refuse efficiently while controlling the consumption of air. SOLUTION: An ejection hole for ejecting air toward a chip discharge pipe 4 connected from a cutter unit 3 to a recovery box 13 during processing, an exhaust gas introduction hole for introducing air discharged by the air cylinders of the cutter unit 3, and a press unit 70 during driving from an air unit 2 into the discharge pipe 4, etc., are provided. By ejecting from the cutter unit 3 during processing during processing, the chips are blown out to the discharge pipe 4 side, and simultaneously the chips are sucked and recovered by decreasing the pressure of the periphery of the opening of the discharge pipe 4.
