PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a grinding surface of a grinding wheel moved of two grinding wheels at a right angle against a rotation axis. SOLUTION: The grinding machine 20 is provided with a first cup-like grinding wheel 4 which is provided on a rotation shaft 2 and of which a tip end becomes a grinding surface 4a; a second cup-like grinding wheel 8 of which a tip end becomes a grinding surface and is directed to the same direction as that of the first grinding wheel 4 and of which the grinding surface 8a is retreated as compared with the grinding surface 4a of the first grinding wheel and is coaxially disposed at a radial different position; a ring-like elastic plate 6 for axially movably supporting the second grinding wheel to the first grinding wheel; and a moving means for moving the second grinding wheel 8 to a retreat position where the grinding surface 8a of the second grinding wheel 8 is retreated against the grinding surface 4a of the first grinding wheel 4 and to a projection position where the grinding surface 8a of the second grinding wheel 8 is projected from the grinding surface 4a of the first grinding wheel 4.
