PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bank note conveying device that prevents occurrence of bank note jam and has a good operability during maintenance or inspection. SOLUTION: The bank note conveying device comprises a conveying passage through which a bank note is nipped and conveyed from the upstream side to the downstream side, and a merge conveyance driving portion that merges the bank note inserted into a bank note inserting machine with the conveying passage and has a driving source, and is installed in a game parlor. The conveying passage comprises a base case, an opening/closing case removably mounted to the upper side of the base case, and a joint member comprising a lid body that slides in the conveying direction of the bank note at the tip and a base member. The opening/closing case and the lid body are provided with groove-like upper bill conveying guide that guides the proximity of the upper end of the bank note and includes gradually narrower interval toward the downstream side in the conveying direction of the bank note, and the opening/closing case has pins removably mounted to the base case at a plurality of portions including four corners.
