PURPOSE: A spring of an oil hydraulic servo valve for a rolling mill is provided to protect a spring from being damaged by intense heat and to have good performance. CONSTITUTION: A spring of an oil hydraulic servo valve comprises a spool(3) operating an oil pressure port(4) selectively installed to the inside of a hydraulic servo valve(1) provided with many oil pressure ports to be reciprocated back and forth, a solenoid valve(5) installed on the outer side of the spool to pull the spool to one way by being supplied with power sources from the outside, a spring(2) installed on one end of the spool to return the spool back to the original position when power sources to the solenoid valve are cut off, and a position sensor(6) installed on the other side of the spool to sense the position of the spool, wherein the spring is made of metal and comprises a flange part at the rear end, a solenoid valve supporter having a spool connecting groove at the front end and a spiral spring part(11) on a pipe-shaped body part.
