PURPOSE: A computer case security apparatus is provided to prevent other person from opening a computer case, and to generate alarm sound in the case that the computer is moved without permission so that it can protect important data stored in a hard disk and high priced parts embedded in the computer. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a case cover(10), a case frame(12) and a control board(32). The case cover(10) has one hole for putting in an LED displaying a power on/off state and a hard disk drive state, and another hole for putting in a key contact module to be contacted by an electronic key. A pair of push switches are installed at either side of the case cover(10) to separate the case frame(12) from the case cover(10). The case frame(12) includes a guide(24) to insert a circular element in, and a solenoid lock(30) to be switched on/off according to a control signal. The control board(32), inserted into a slot of a main board, generates control signals according to the signals transmitted from the key contact module(26).
