摘要 PURPOSE: Provided are aromatic acryl- or methacryl-based compounds and a preparation thereof, a polymerizable composition containing at least one the compound, and a process for producing high refractional transparent plastic optical material from the composition. CONSTITUTION: The polymerizable composition contains an initiator and at least one the aromatic acrylate or methacrylate represented by the formula (1)(2)(3), wherein the aromatic acrylate or methacrylate is produced by reacting 4,4'-oxybis(benzoyl chloride) and an alcohol at -5 to 90deg.C or reacting 3-isopropenyl-dimethyl benzyl isocyanate and poly(ethylene glycol)mono methacrylate at 20 to 90deg.C or reacting an aromatic diol and methacryloyl chloride or ethylene oxy-substituted acrylate at -5 to 20deg.C. The high refractional transparent plastic optical material is produced by polymerizing the polymerizable composition in a mold under the condition of: a room temperature(120min.), 40deg.C(120min.), 40deg.C(120min.), 60deg.C(180min.), 60deg.C(180min.), 85deg.C (180min.), 85deg.C(120min.), 120deg.C(120min.), 120deg.C(naturally cooling), and 60deg.C, if the initiator is IPP or a room temperature(120min.), 60deg.C(180min.), 60deg.C(120min.), 75deg.C(180min.), 75deg.C(120min.), 90deg.C(120min.), 90deg.C(120min.), 120deg.C(120min.), 120deg.C(naturally cooling), and 60deg.C, if the initiator is AIBN. In the formula, X is -O-, -S-, -SO2-, -CH2-, and etc., R1 is H or -CH3, R3 is a halogen-substituted alkyl, and m is an integer of 0-50.
