PURPOSE: A process for preparing a healthy beverage by boiling a mixture of cinnamon tree extracts and rice, mixing malted rice and fermenting is provided, thereby producing functional drink having a function for prevention of arthritis, osteoporosis, osteomyelitis and periosteitis by removing toxicity of a cinnamon tree. CONSTITUTION: A mixture of a cinnamon tree and water in a ratio of 1kg:1L is boiled for 3hrs and added rice to produce hard-boiled rice, which is mixed with malted rice, poured into a vessel, mixed with an extract prepared by boiling a mixture of cinnamon tree and water in a ratio of 6kg:4L for 24hrs, fermenting at 20 to 30deg.C for 2 to 5 days to produce grain liquor, which is heated at 100 to 250deg.C to produce the objective healthy beverage.
